Strong enough for all-adult teams, most of Santana’s family bikes are custom-designed for parents with growing children. With optional child stoker kits installed in the center or rear riding positions, these models can be converted back-and-forth between adult and child configurations in minutes. While any builder can produce a frame with additional seats, your best buy will be an adaptable bike that your family won’t outgrow. After building over 300 stretch tandems Santana has more design and construction expertise than all other builders combined.

Can’t decide between a triplet for your family or a Stowaway™ tandem for romantic getaways with your spouse? It’s amazing how many young couples face this difficult choice—and here’s the answer. Santana’s Cabrio is a triplet (or quad) that can be transformed into a tandem by simply removing the center section of the frame. Thanks to its strategically-placed frame couplers, the resulting tandem or triplet can be stowed into one or two suitcases that will travel through airports unnoticed.

In a quest to develop the easiest tandem to own and use we created the Smooth. Clean, maintenance free belt drives and internal gearing mean it’s always ready to go for a trip into town or down the boardwalk. The perfect accessory for an RV or beach house, the whole family will want to get in on the fun. Two frame sizes each incorporate a telescoping stoker seatpost to accommodate a wide range of rider heights. Quality components and a butted 7000 series aluminum frame for lightweight durability. 26 x 1.5” tires are fast rolling but stable, puncture resistant, and comfortable.
