Tandem
In a quest to develop the easiest tandem to own and use Santana created the Smooth. Clean, maintenance free belt drives and internal gearing mean it’s always ready to go for a trip into town or down the boardwalk. The perfect accessory for an RV or beach house, the whole family will want to get in on the fun. Two frame sizes each incorporate a telescoping stoker seatpost to accommodate a wide range of rider heights. Quality components and a butted 7000 series aluminum frame for lightweight durability. 26×1.5” tires are fast rolling but stable, puncture resistant, and comfortable.

Test ride
What to look for when buying a tandem? First of all, it is good to test a tandem. If you've never ridden a tandem before, you'll have a lot of fun on your first ride. Instead of renting a tandem or borrowing one from a friend, you should make an appointment to test ride it with us in our location in Rosenheim. Even if you have to plan a weekend for it, it is worth it. We want you to be properly introduced to riding techniques so that your first ride will be an unforgettable experience.
Frame size
Often tandem couples think they need a custom made frame because they are different sizes. However, Santana standard frames, exactly compensate for these size differences. Santana offers tandem sizes S, M and L as standard. If frame sizes, frame design or special features are not possible with a standard Santana frame, Santana is able to build a custom tandem for you.
Disassemblable tandems
For customers who like to take their tandem on vacation by car, train, bus or plane, Santana offers a perfect option with the disassemblable Z-couplings.
